Decay is setting in.

As work begins on the next Pittersplatter album things begin to shift and change once again. The new album is titled Wastelands and so far the album is shaping up to be a pretty intense blend of both new and old. Wastelands marks the end of a 3 album concept starting with the 2010 album The Dawn of Carnage, followed by the 2012 album Frozen.

Nothing lasts forever, everything dies and withers away.

Outlived

The past couple of years have been Pittersplatter's most successful but also most difficult. Last year we suffered a great loss with the passing of a family member, had to deal with theft which resulted in the loss of a live band member, and last night in Oklahoma City we had to deal with vandalism to our transportation while we were playing a show. These things happen, life happens, and in the decade Pittersplatter has been playing live we have run into our share of bad people. From shit talking "promoters" to other musicians using us for all they could squeeze out of us then betraying us when they had their fill, Pittersplatter has endured a lot of bullshit. All of these things would have never happened had I stuck to my original plan with Pittersplatter. I originally planned to never play live shows, to keep the project strictly in the studio and online. I planned on putting out albums, videos, and imagery but never really going live. I decided to go live, and a decade later Pittersplatter is still gigging. Live shows are my way of saying thank you to all those who care to listen to Pittersplatter, those who support us. I feel I owe it to our supporters to get out there on stages and put on a show for them, that is the ONLY reason why I gig at all. But it hasn't all been bad, in fact it has been mostly good.

In the decade Pittersplatter has been on live stages we have had the chance to get to know some really awesome people, play in some really cool places, and put on some damn good shows. Despite what bad people have tried to do to us, or what life has thrown at us, Pittersplatter has survived. Pittersplatter has outlived every band, promoter, or venue who has screwed us over. I simply will not give up, not until I stop breathing. We have heard and seen it all at this point, and at the end of the day we endure, we overcome, and we remain. We play live gigs as a thank you to our supporters, and if you are someone who is just interested in trying to take a swing at us then you are not welcome in our house. We will hold you responsible for your actions, toss you in the street, and move on. We do things in our own way. We won't fight with these low individuals, that is what law enforcement is for, that is what we pay our legal system to do. If you mess with us you will pay the price, whether its just your reputation that takes the hit, or you wind up behind bars, we will always get justice and we will always see the situation resolved. We are not a band who plays gigs for a 6 pack and gets into fist fights when we have problems with people. We are a signed band who plays for our supporters and when someone tries to come up against us we do not hesitate to finish things within our legal rights.

Lets this be your one and final warning. If you fuck with us you are only going to destroy yourself. We will defeat you without having to throw a single punch, or take any sort of violent action what so ever. When a band has been playing as long as we have you get to know everyone in the business in your area, you also get to know law enforcement, and when a problem arises we can contact these groups. You can figure out what happens next.........

We will continue to play live for our supporters. We will continue to make music. Pittersplatter is still here.
